The Reality Capture crew of SE Blueprint recently documented over 225,000 SqFt of the old Akron Beacon Journal Building and created a Virtual Tour to assist project team members collaborate throughout the planning & design phases of the massive mix use development. It took 2 ReCap technicians 5 days to digitize, photograph, and process into an interactive Matterport hosted Virtual Tour of the existing conditions of this property.
Virtual Tours consist of 3D panoramic 4K images within a geospatial digital mesh. Partnering this with the 3D digital point cloud to create a 3D BIM model for planning, design, permitting, building and management of ongoing operations for the property is recognized as a Digital Twin.
