Local businesses doing business with other local businesses is good for our local economy; we generally hire local architects, engineers, contractors, accountants, attorneys, insurance brokers, computer consultants, suppliers and our money is deposited into local banks (SE Blueprint banks at First Federal of Lakewood).
This concept is recognized as the “local multiplier effect” which for every $1.00 spent locally $.45 is invested back into our local economy, opposed to only $.15 when doing business with a national chain.
